Following speculation surrounding job advertisements on Blizzard's website, a community administrator has confirmed on the World of Warcraft forums that the developer is currently at work on an unannounced, next-gen MMO.
The job postings displayed are seeking lead character and environment 3D artists for the unspecified project, which has an icon reading "Top Secret!" displayed alongside the posting where the logo for the appropriate game property would normally be.
The community administrator addressed the speculation on the forums succinctly, but said, "No, it is an unannounced Next-Gen MMO. And that doesn't mean an expansion for World of Warcraft either.
Earlier this year, Blizzard founding member and senior vice president of product development Frank Pearce told Gamasutra that the company had created a workforce titled "Team 3," comprised of about 40 members separate from the Starcraft and Warcraft teams.
Pearce declined to give any details on what the team might be working on, only saying that "Team 3 is working on something really awesome. I can’t give you any hints, but it’s totally awesome."

Blizzard generally responds to the question about sequels, as it being the means necessary for achieving something which their current technology cannot. That being said, they've hired people for doing physics in a MMO constrained environment. What this could mean concerning the game play, I cannot say, but surly they got something interesting cooking. End hype.
Its the only platform blizzard has not touched. And u never here their devs shut up about how much they love battlefeild1942-2- etc...
Diablo is from the 90's its style is 2 dark/hardcore to sell.
Diablo would fit nicer in a cinematic console game.
"Team 3" was at blizcon called Medusa.. ei queen of blades. .. blizzard will follow the exact formula of WC3 and WOW to SC2 and WOS... and reap the moneys ...
BTW, i do hope this new MMO is not Diablo related, I think Diablo will always give his best the singleplayer/battlenet way
