Take Two's Rockstar Games announced that it will release Grand Theft Auto IV for the PC on November 18th and 21st in North America and Europe, respectively. Improving on the game's console iterations, the PC release will include "newly expanded multiplayer" features for the PC.

Originally released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in April 2008, the Rockstar North-developed title broke worldwide entertainment records, selling an approximate total of 3.6 million units in just its first day of release, resulting in revenues of around $310 million.

Rockstar also says that the game sold six million copies globally in a single week, generating over $500 million in revenue. In its recently reported second quarter financial results, Take-Two noted that GTA IV helped double the company's profits and sales to $98.2 million and $539.8 million, respectively.

Says Rockstar Games founder Sam Houser: “We are very excited to be releasing the PC version of Grand Theft Auto IV. The whole team is dedicated to bringing an amazing gaming experience to the PC. The game looks and plays beautifully on PC and we can’t wait for people to play it.”

So this means we'll get a more graphically pleasing wave of Machinima?
