Veterans of Warhawk developer Incognito Entertainment have left the company to form their own studio, LightBox Interactive.

Via consumer weblog Kotaku comes news that game director Dylan Jobe is among the new studio's founding staff, along with "members that made significant contributions to the games Twisted Metal:Black, War of the Monsters, Warhawk and all of its expansion packs."

According to the report, LightBox has a multi-year, multi-title partnership with Sony Computer Entertainment America to develop games for PlayStation platforms. The staff will move from their former Salt Lake City headquarters to Austin, Texas in Fall 2009.

"This transition has been a year in the making and we're very proud that no jobs were lost in this transition," says the new studio in a statement. "Every member of our team is critical and has a new home at LightBox Interactive."
