Sony Announces New Jak & Daxter For PS2, PSP
Advertisement
Sony has announced the sixth game in the Jak & Daxter series, and it is the first multiplatform game in the franchise's history.

Jak & Daxter: The Lost Frontier is being developed by High Impact games for PlayStation 2 and PSP.

The Burbank, California-based studio, founded by former Insomniac Games developers, was previously responsible for two games in the Ratchet & Clank series, Secret Agent Clank for PSP and Size Matters for PS2 and PSP.

According to a statement by publisher Sony, the game will include both on-foot exploration and action as well as air combat in a variety of craft. "Air pirates" are allegedly involved.

The Lost Frontier is set for release some time this fall.
