Michael Steer

Michael Steer, Production Lab Technician (Microsoft Corporation), has been working on the Xbox platform since the early days of Xbox. He began in the industry by joining 3Dlabs straight out of university in 1998, and helped build on their support for OpenGL and DirectX within Design tools and PC gaming. After a couple of years of this, he joined the newly formed Xbox team in Europe in 2001. He currently works in the XNA Program Services group at Microsoft where he supports the XNA Game Quality team and game publishers. Mike holds a Bachelors Degree in Electronics, Computing and Business from Kingston University in the UK.
