Newsbrief: Seoul-headquartered developer and operator WeMade Entertainment (The Legend of Mir series) has announced that it will appoint Hoon NamGoong as its new co-CEO alongside current president NamChul Kim. He will also serve on the company's board of directors.

Hoon was previously CEO for CJ Corporation subsidiary Netmarble (Uncharted Waters Online). He also was CEO for NHN Corporation's U.S. publishing branch, and he co-founded Hangame, NHN Corporation's popular South Korean online game portal.

NamChui and Hoon will replace former co-CEOs Kevin 'Sookiel' Seo and Kwan-Ho Park, according to ThisisGame. Seo left the company last year to buy and take over South Korean publisher Nowcom. It's unclear what role, if any, WeMade founder Kwan-Ho will play at the company now.
