Newsbrief: Machinima, which publishes video game trailers and original content on YouTube, is set to raise as much as $30 million in a new round of funding, which would value the company at $190 million.

Machinima was the most popular non-music channel on YouTube last year. With its 109 million subscribers, the channel is the primary game trailer source for many people online. Since launching in 2006, Machinima has received more than 26.63 billion views for its videos.

Google, which owns YouTube, is set to lead the investment round, according to a report from All Things Digital. Machinima is expected to close the funding round at the end of the month. Neither Machinima or Google have commented on the investment.
