Newsbrief: Japan-headquartered online game publisher Nexon is looking to expand its North American business via a new agreement with Valve, which will see several of Nexon's free-to-play games launched via Steam.

MMO Vindictus launched on Steam in North America over the weekend, while Dungeon Fighter Online and multiplayer first person shooter Combat Arms will appear in the online store later this month.

Nexon has seen great success through its shift to free-to-play titles recently, with strong growth in China and Korea. However, this success has been offset by an underwhelming performance for its games in North America.
