Gamasutra's regular round-up of worldwide video game releases, "Release This!", takes a look at every game title we know to be shipping to stores this week, in a custom compiled list.

This week brings Wreckateer and Malicious to digital download platforms stateside, while Japan gets New Super Mario Bros. 2 and Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena.

The following list covers all of the game software we know to be available -- across all platforms and regions -- for the week ending July 28th, 2012.

Games Released in the United States:

Alvion's downloadable third-person action-adventure title Malicious premieres for the PlayStation 3 in North America this week, joining Grip Games' cross-platform Foosball 2012.

The Kinect-compatible Wreckateer continues Microsoft's Summer of Arcade promotion on the Xbox 360, meanwhile, as the multiplatform exercise title Adidas miCoach headlines this week's retail lineup.

Games Released in Europe:

An expanded retail version of Nintendo's 3DSWare hit Freakyforms debuts in Europe this week alongside the Nintendo-published educational title New Art Academy.

Other 3DS standouts include Namco Bandai's manga-based action game One Piece Unlimited Cruise SP2 and the Nobunaga's Ambition crossover Pokemon Conquest.

Games Released in Japan:

Nintendo's New Super Mario Bros. 2 hits the 3DS in Japan this week, joining a portable console lineup that also includes a localization of Cave Story 3D and multiple PSP visual novel titles.

Atlus's one-on-one fighter Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena is set to launch for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, while Wii owners can expect to see Ubisoft's dancing sim sequel Just Dance Wii 2.
