In the latest postings over the last seven days, Gamasutra's jobs board plays host to roles in every major discipline, including opportunities at Wargaming America, Firebrand Games, and others.

Each position posted by employers will appear on the main Gamasutra job board, and appear in the site's daily and weekly newsletters, reaching our readers directly.

It will also be cross-posted for free across Gamasutra's network of submarket sites, which includes content sites focused on independent games and more.

Some of the notable jobs posted this week include:

Kixeye: Generalist Engineer:
"Founded in 2007, Kixeye is an online gaming company that plays to win. Responsible for popular titles like Backyard Monsters, Battle Pirates and War Commander, Kixeye is redefining the intersection of game development and technology to create innovative browser-based experiences for competitive gamers. The company is based in San Francisco and backed by Trinity Ventures, JAFCO and Lightspeed Venture Partners"

Visceral Games Montreal: Senior Level Designer:
"Visceral Games is the new home for AAA Action game development across all of Electronic Arts. Working in a collaborative environment, the Montreal, Redwood Shores, Los Angeles, Shanghai, and Melbourne studios make up the Visceral Games group. The Montreal studio is best known for the co-development of the critically acclaimed and commercially successful Dead Space 2 and multi-million selling hit franchise Army of Two."

Firebrand Games: Junior Game Programmer:
"Firebrand Games is an independent game developer with studios in Scotland, Florida and Louisiana. Over the last five years we have worked on some of the industry's biggest publishers and racing game franchises, all running on our proprietary Octane technology.

We operate in small tight-knit teams of highly experienced and driven individuals where everyone makes a difference and has an opportunity to add to the quality of our games. We believe in strict project management practices and high productivity to help us achieve our aim of high-quality, no-crunch, on-time productions. We also enjoy what we do!"

Sucker Punch Productions: Rendering/Graphics Software Engineer:
"In 1997, we started Sucker Punch Productions to make great games, and we've spent the last 14 years doing just that. We produced three award-winning PS2 games starring the wily raccoon thief Sly Cooper, all of which met with critical acclaim, commercial success, and file cabinets full of fan mail. Some of it written in crayon.

In May 2009, we released the open-world superhero game Infamous, which set the stage for Cole MacGrath's story and met with excellent reviews and solid footing at the top of the PS3 sales charts. June 7, 2011 marked the launch of Infamous 2 that furthered Cole's superhero action-adventure story. As for our next game… well, that's where you come in!"

Wargaming America Inc.: Senior Programmer:
"Wargaming America is the exclusive North American publisher for Wargaming.net, the creator of award-winning games World of Tanks, World of Warplanes and the upcoming World of Battleships, slated for release in 2013. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Wargaming America provides marketing, public relations, business development, community and customer support services for all of Wargaming.net's video game titles.
