Newsbrief: Amazon today announced the launch of free Unity support for its In-App Purchasing and Amazon GameCircle APIs, such that Unity developers can now add these Amazon features to their games.

The two initiatives help studios to inject in-app purchasing support into their mobile games, while providing the means for achievement and leaderboard support on Kindle Fire devices. Interested parties should visit the official website.

Amazon's in-app purchase support previously launched in April, where by games available via the Amazon Appstore are able to offer digital content and subscriptions in-game.
