Gamasutra's regular round-up of worldwide video game releases, "Release This!", takes a look at every game title we know to be shipping to stores this week, in a custom compiled list.

This week brings Black Knight Sword, Crimson Shroud, and a retail compilation for Telltale's The Walking Dead series to North America, while Japan gets Sangokushi 12 and Inazuma Eleven Go 2.

The following list covers all of the game software we know to be available -- across all platforms and regions -- for the week ending December 15th, 2012.

Games Released in the United States:

North American retail releases slow significantly as the holiday season approaches. A boxed compilation of Telltale's episodic adventure game series The Walking Dead headlines this week's multiplatform lineup, while other highlights include a Wii U port of Eurocom's 007 Legends and a 3DS version of Sega's kart racer Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed.

Digital standouts include Grasshopper Manufacture's Xbox Live Arcade side-scroller Black Knight Sword and Crimson Shroud, a downloadable Nintendo 3DS RPG from Professor Layton series creator Level 5.

Games Released in Europe:

A Wii U version of D3 Publisher's animated film-based adventure game Rise of the Guardians is the sole retail title shipping to Europe this week, according to online retailer DVD.co.uk.

Games Released in Japan:

Koei's long-running Romance of the Three Kingdoms strategy series gets a new entry in Japan this week with the release of Sangokushi 12 for the Nintendo Wii U and PlayStation 3.

Also hitting stores in Japan this week are expanded versions of Konami's baseball sim Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu 2012 and Level 5's Nintendo 3DS soccer RPG Inazuma Eleven Go 2.
