Rixty, a payment platform that sells voucher cards which can be exchanged online for credits toward its partners' games, today announced multiple partnerships with big-name AAA studios.

The company's alternative payment options will soon be built into games from Wargaming.net, CCP Games and Meteor Entertainment, meaning that Rixty now serves more than 80 video game publishers.

Most recently, Rixty announced that Asia's leading e-payment company, MOL AccessPortal, is now its majority shareholder. MOL provides a similar service to other parts of the world -- including Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, India, Australia and New Zealand, across 360,000 retail locations.

Rixty has grown significantly in the past year, with the number of physical point-of-sale locations that it offers now up to 141,000 in total -- an increase of 88 percent year-over-year.
