Humble Bundle today revealed The Humble Store
, a round-the-clock, web-based digital storefront that features sharply-discounted games for multiple platforms, including Steam and DRM-free versions. 10 percent of sales goes to charity.
The intermittent bundles that Humble is currently known for are already able to generate millions of dollars in a single outing. A permanent outlet like Humble Store is destined to be a major player as far as digital video game storefronts are concerned.
The company will continue to offer the pay-what-you-want Humble Bundle collections, with the option to donate to charity, that it has become known for. The Humble Store is in addition to that original business model. The storefront will be updated daily with new deals, to keep customers engaged.
The 10 percent charity share from Humble Store sales will go to the American Red Cross, Child's Play, Electronic Frontier Foundation, World Land Trust and Charity:Water.
The initial deals at the store's launch today includes the games Gunpoint, Rogue Legacy, Don't Starve, The Swapper
