Double Fine publishes Magical Time Bean's Escape Goat 2

Newsbrief: Today, Double Fine published Magical Time Bean's Escape Goat 2 for Windows, Mac, and Linux -- the first game it has released that was not developed by the studio. This kicks off the company's publishing efforts.

According to the release Double Fine distributed to the press, the game's development was finished up in its offices as part of the Indie Omega Jam -- a month-long jam held at Double Fine's San Francisco offices.

Well-known DFer Greg Rice is serving as the company's senior publishing manager. Said Rice in a statement: "It's super rad to be surrounded by other independent developers who are making cool stuff and are passionate about what they are doing. I'm really glad we could help them out and hope we can do this with more developers in the future!"

Double Fine invites independent developers who want to get in contact with them about publishing to contact the studio at indies@doublefine.com.
