In order to better understand the game industry before GDC Next 2014 featuring ADC, conference officials are polling game industry professionals about their opinions on contemporary game marketing across markets that grow more crowded every year.

The short survey is live now and seeks to capture data on how developers promote their games before, during and after development, as well as how they feel about the value of coverage by YouTubers, traditional press and the promotional divisions of platform holders.

Organizers will randomly select one respondent to receive a free All Access Pass to the 2015 Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, with the winner being contacted via the email address entered at the end of the survey.

The survey closes next Thursday, August 28th, at midnight Pacific.

Results of the survey will be published before GDC Next featuring ADC, which takes place November 3rd-4th, 2014 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Gamasutra, GDC and ADC are sibling organizations under parent UBM Tech.
