Release This:  Star Trek Online, White Knight Chronicles  Debut in U.S.

Gamasutra's regular round-up of worldwide video game releases, "Release This!", takes a look at every game title we know to be shipping to stores this week, in a custom compiled list.

This week brings Star Trek Online and White Knight Chronicles stateside, as Dante's Inferno gets an early UK release.

The following list covers all of the game software we know to be available -- across all platforms and regions -- for the week ending February 6th, 2010.

Games Released in the United States:

Cryptic Studios' sci-fi MMORPG Star Trek Online launches worldwide this week on PC platforms. PlayStation 3 owners will get Level 5's action-RPG White Knight Chronicles, while the PSP receives a port of From Software's mech combat title Armored Core: Silent Line.

Visceral Games' action-adventure title Dante's Inferno premieres in Europe this week, arriving several days in advance of its planned U.S. release date.

Wii owners in the UK will get Nintendo's undersea exploration sequel Endless Ocean 2, along with Square Enix's action-RPG Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers.

Tri-Ace's formerly Xbox 360-exclusive RPG Star Ocean: The Last Hope comes to the PlayStation 3 this week in a new expanded edition.

Other upcoming Japanese releases include Namco's sci-fi adventure title God Eater, a Nintendo DS remake of the Famicom athletic sports game Downtown Nekketsu Koushinkyoku: Soreyuke Daiundoukai, and a new PSP entry in Konami's Pop'n Music series.
