Release This: Brink, Lego Pirates of the Caribbean Hit Store Shelves

Gamasutra's regular round-up of worldwide video game releases, "Release This!", takes a look at every game title we know to be shipping to stores this week, in a custom compiled list.

This week brings Splash Damage's Brink, Sega's Virtua Tennis 4, and TT Games' Lego Pirates of the Caribbean to North America.

The following list covers all of the game software we know to be available -- across all platforms and regions -- for the week ending May 14th, 2011.

Games Released in the United States:

This week brings the multiplatform release of Brink, a science fiction-themed shooter from Enemy Territory: Quake Wars developer Splash Damage. Also hitting multiple platforms this week are TT Games' LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean and Sega's Virtua Tennis 4.

Downloadable highlights include an updated PC port of Hydrophobia, EA's XBLA strategy game Gatling Gears, and a WiiWare remake of BioWare's MDK2.

Bandai Namco brings an adventure game based on the popular Haruhi Suzumiya anime and manga franchise to the PlayStation 3 and PSP in Japan this week. Also arriving on store shelves are Nintendo's 3DS submarine sim Steel Diver and 2K's multiplatform Major League Baseball 2K11
