In the latest postings over the last seven days, Gamasutra's jobs board plays host to roles in every major discipline, including opportunities at Visceral Games, Retro Studios, Ubisoft Massive, and others.

Each position posted by employers will appear on the main Gamasutra job board, and appear in the site's daily and weekly newsletters, reaching our readers directly.

It will also be cross-posted for free across Gamasutra's network of submarket sites, which includes content sites focused on independent games and more.

Some of the notable jobs posted this week include:

Ubisoft Massive: Lead Online Programmer (MMO):
"Founded in 1997 and now fully owned by Ubisoft Entertainment, Massive is a premier producer of games and interactive entertainment software for a worldwide market. World in Conflict proved that aiming for excellence pays off, as it met high critical acclaim across the world and received multiple Game of the Year and Editor's Choice Awards. This was one of the reasons Massive was ranked as the 42nd best game studio in the world by Game Developers Research in 2008, making Massive the only Nordic game studio on the list. Massive was also ranked as the 8th best place to work in Sweden and received an award for "Best Integration and Multicultural Work" by the Great Place to Work Institute."

Visceral Games Redwood Shores: Sr. Audio Artist:
"Visceral Games Redwood Shores is the Electronic Arts studio responsible for such next-gen action games as Dead Space, Dead Space 2, Dante’s Inferno, as well as past hits like Godfather, Lord of the Rings: Return of the King, and 007: Everything or Nothing. We have over a decade of experience at delivering a high-intensity action gaming experience. As an EA studio, we have the stability and backing of a large company combined with the agility and fun culture of a small studio and the mandate to make original IP. We have a great campus in sunny Redwood City, 40 minutes south of San Francisco, with on-campus gym, cafeterias, daycare, soccer-field, and more. Here at Visceral, we are focused on creativity, polish, and shipping games that millions love. We are looking for game developers who want to join a AAA-quality studio and make AAA-quality games!"

Red 5 Studios: World Builder:
"Red 5 Studios creates leading, next-generation, massively multiplayer games. Our mission is simple: we want to make the best online games possible and have fun doing it. Red 5 Studios is led by key creative and executive talent behind the most successful MMO to date, World of Warcraft. Our team represents years of successful, AAA game development on projects such as Warcraft, Diablo, Starcraft and Ultima Online. Red 5 Studios believes that online gaming will be the dominant form of gaming in the future. We are dedicated to creating incredible, immersive game worlds based on original stories and characters that bring together millions of gamers worldwide."

Retro Studios: Retro Technical Animator (Level 2 or 3):
"Retro Studios, founded in 1998, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Nintendo Company, Ltd. Retro is a State of the Art Game Development Studio working in conjunction with Nintendo to bring cutting-edge games to Nintendo Hardware Systems like the Nintendo GameCube. Retro Studios is Headquartered in beautiful Austin, Texas. With rolling hills to the north, rivers threading through town, abundant wildlife, a diverse music scene, and a laid-back cosmopolitan nature, Austin is a dynamic and truly wonderful place to live. The weather's great (if a little on the warm side), and plenty of outdoor activities await. There's something for everyone in Austin, especially if you're a connoisseur of all things barbecue."

Funzio: Game Data Analyst:
"Funzio’s CEO, Ken Chiu, has been a founding member or early employee of Playdom, Zynga, and Storm8. Having a winning a formula for making addictive games, Ken wanted to create a company which would be a Free-to-Play powerhouse on multi platforms and in 2010, he founded Funzio with other web and mobile veterans, Rick Thompson, Anil Dharni, Ram Gudavalli and Andy Keidel. In August 2011, Funzio’s flagship game, Crime City, a mobster role-playing app, shot to the top of the Apple Store in both downloads and gross receipts in just 5-days of launch, after already winning millions of users on Facebook, with almost perfect consumer satisfaction scores.

Funzio has secured $20Million in Series A growth financing, in March 2011, led by IDG Capital Partners, in order to accelerate the release of more addictive games on Facebook, Google+, iOS, iPad and Android as well as to continue to grow our engineering team with world-class talent. Funzio is headquartered in the SOMA district in San Francisco, near Montgomery Bart station."
