MILWAUKEE, WI, October 10th 2012. Award-winning game developer Guild Software is proud to announce the release of their long-running MMORPG "Vendetta Online" for the new Windows 8 and Windows RT platforms.

Available directly from the Windows Store, the game delivers a unique online experience across tablets, ultrabooks, and traditional desktop PCs, including both x86 and ARM platforms. The online nature of the game allows players to seamlessly transition between desktop and mobile devices, picking up right where they left off, with all players interacting within the same galaxy.

"We're excited to bring the intensity of multi-player space combat to this new platform and family of devices," said John Bergman, CEO of Guild Software. "Thanks to the scalability of our in-house NAOS Engine with native DirectX 11 support, we're able to deliver our desktop-grade MMO experience even on lightweight Windows RT tablets."

Vendetta Online blends an intense mix of combat, trading, mining, and exploration to create a distinctive MMO experience. From giant space battles over the dynamic conquest of territory, to player-manufactured capships and guild-owned stations, the title continues to push the envelope of what is possible in an online game.
