Hamburg, Germany - November 5th, 2012 –
Fishlabs Entertainment, the award-winning developer and publisher
of premium games for smartphones and tablets, is happy to welcome
two new team members onboard. For an upcoming multiplayer title,
which has not yet been announced officially, the Hamburg-based
mobile specialists have recruited Patrick Heyer as Senior Producer
and Sirko Rückmann as Lead Game Designer.
The studied computer scientist Sirko Rückmann (32) has more
than five years of work experience in the field of game design.
Among others, he worked for Bigpoint and Ticking Bomb Games as Game
Designer before he took over the position of Lead Game Designer at
GoodGame Studios. In addition, Rückmann also taught
“Game Design” at the HAW Hamburg from March 2010 to
February 2012.
Patrick Heyer (29) on the other hand is well-known in the
Fishlabs office, because he has already been working for Fishlabs
back in 2008. Before he moved on to Bigpoint in February 2009,
Heyer did not only work for Fishlabs as Community Manager, but he
did also write his bachelor thesis about “Mobile 3D Java
Games on Symbian with OpenGL ES” during his time at the
acclaimed mobile games company. At Bigpoint he then went on in
various positions, including Viral Marketing Manager and (Lead)
Developer & Software Architect, before he finally took over the
role of the producer for the successful browser game Seafight in
2011.
”The release of our first multiplayer title is surely
going to be a particularly important milestone for Fishlabs and the
time could hardly be better to release a Free2Play game for
smartphones and tablets,” says Michael Schade, CEO of
Fishlabs Entertainment. “If you have played any of our
previous games, you will know that we are always eager to offer our
fans the best and most compelling gaming experiences we can –
and that is exactly what we are going to do with our upcoming
multiplayer game as well. However, in order to achieve that goal,
we need a strong and competent team. And that’s where Sirko
and Patrick come in, because they both have the right amount of
experience and skills to help us develop and maintain a
high-quality title.”
