NGames, a leading online games publisher, has announced the introduction of new weekly team-based tournaments for 3D browser-based adventure game, Cyber Monster.

Based on a magical storyline set in the European Middle Ages, Cyber Monster provides a thrilling world where players grow up as they overcome difficulties on fantastical journeys. As they adventure across a romantically rendered 3D landscape, players can capture and raise their own unique army of diverse pets and mounts.

The new arcade mode lets players of the serene MMO take a break from the mount-focused adventures, and instead focus their attention on winning battles and prizes.

Besides the already announced solo tournaments, every weekend from 21:00 – 21:30 CST, players can band together in teams and face off against each other for the right to be crowned the strongest guild in Cyber Monster.

During the registration period (10:00 – 20:30 CST on weekends), adventurers decide whether they want to join an already existing team, or create their own using the team panel.

Forming a team costs in-game money, but it's money well spent. As a captain, players can name their team, recruit other players (the more in-game coupons they spend on the team, the more team members they can recruit), and earn a variety of cool exclusive badges depending on the overall level of the team.

Registration closes as soon as 32 teams are signed up for the tournament. Each tournament holds a maximum of 32 teams, with each team required to hold at least 5 members. Teams are then randomly matched and pitted against each other in a knockout competition.

The Arcade arena is no place for ill-thought plans. To become the champion of Cyber Monster, teams should ensure they analyze their battle reports at the end of each round in order to determine their strongest tactics.

The tournament winners will bag themselves a collection of gold and silver medals, which can be redeemed in the item shop for a plethora of useful items. Every team entering the tournament is guaranteed a prize, from 10 silver medals for ranking in the top 32, to 8 gold and 15 silver medals for coming in first place.
