London, 12 th December 2012 – Barnstorm Games today announced the launch of a brand new quiz game based on ITV Studios’ hit show, The Chase.  Quiz enthusiasts and fans of the show can now take on the Chaser on iPhone®, iPod® touch, iPad® and the new iPad mini™, in the official App of the popular ITV game show The Chase, priced at £1.49.

“We are delighted to have worked with ITV Studios and ITV Brand Extensions to produce a game based on one of their most popular and successful shows.  It’s a terrific quiz game and we think fans will be eager to take on their favourite Chaser and compete for the highest score with their friends.” stated Simon Jeffrey, CEO of Barnstorm Games.

“Working with Barnstorm has been a genuinely collaborative process and together we have created a fantastic App that captures the excitement of the TV show.  We’re amazed at how realistically Barnstorm have recreated the level of each Chaser’s knowledge within the App and we hope fans of The Chase enjoy playing it,” said Michael Kelpie, ITV Studios Creative Director of Entertainment, Executive Producer and co-creator of The Chase.

Players answer general knowledge questions to build up cash before facing one of the country's finest quiz brains, The Chaser. The objective is to outrun The Chaser and get your money back to the prize fund, before taking on the ultimate test of quick-thinking brain power - The Final Chase.  This isn't just a quiz; it's also a race where players must avoid being caught by The Chaser!  The challenge is tough, as each Chaser has been accurately modelled on statistics from their actual performance on the TV show.

Take on the famous four:

The Beast

The Governess

The Dark Destroyer

The Sinnerman

Features:

·         Play with up to 4 players (on one device)
