Hamburg, December 19, 2012. InnoGames has released
a new cinematic
TV spot for the strategic
browser game Grepolis today. From December 22nd on, the trailer can
be seen on international television stations. It features action
packed naval and ground battles in Ancient Greece with a decisive
interference of a fresh 3D Zeus who throws one of his legendary
thunderbolts. The new trailer can already be seen on
YouTube.
The scenes are accompanied by the original game theme song,
created by over 60 musicians of the Brandenburg State Philharmonic.
The theme will also find its place directly in the game as Grepolis
will incorporate sounds early in 2013. Glare Studios was contracted
to produce the spot, along with an in-house team at InnoGames. The
music was created by IMAscore.
Grepolis is a strategy game
set in Ancient Greece. In the free browser-based title, players are
tasked with building up a vast metropolis and uniting with other
players to establish a powerful military and conquer far away
islands. Currently it boasts over 18 million registered users and
is playable in 22 languages.
Next to Grepolis, German games company InnoGames has published
major browser game titles like
Forge of Empires,
Tribal Wars and
The West. With about 100
million registered users, the company belongs to the biggest
developers and publishers of online games worldwide.
