The Minister for Culture, Communications & Creative
Industries Ed Vaizey visits Silicon Spa today accompanied by the
local conservative MP Chris White. They will be visiting
Warwickshire College, Blitz, Playground Games and Kwalee.
Kwalee invited both Ed and Chris over to the offices and were on
hand with their camera's to capture the moment. Ed and Chris were
treated to coffee, cakes and a guided tour of our humble offices
here in Leamington Spa where they met some of the Kwalee artists
and programmers.
The reason for Ed Vaizey's visit is to speak today at the
Ministerial Roundtable meeting at the Trident Centre in Warwick
and the subject matter is very close to Kwalee's heart. They
will be discussing
"Silicon Spa: Creating a global brand for video games in
Leamington Spa"
. Our own CEO David Darling and CMO Bruce Everiss will be
attending the meeting to represent Kwalee and the mobile gaming
sector. You can keep up to date with the developments by keeping an
eye on their respective Twitter accounts.
