Imagine Nations Kickstarter Demo Released!

The Imagine Nations Game Demo is now available. Imagine Nations is a genre-defying voxel sandbox game from Cat Banana Studios. This demo has been released to support our Kickstarter and Steam Greenlight Campaigns.  It showcases some core elements that nearly every feature will derive from in an extremely simplified manner.  The demo also shows some of the audio and visual direction we have taken with the game.

Key Features

?     Full movement including walking, running, sprinting, and jumping.

?     Ability to quickswap left and right hands between:  Multitool (chop down trees and dig the ground up), Sword (kill enemies), Dirt Block (when dug up, allows the player to place them down), and Lumber Block (when cut down from a tree, allows the player to place them down)

?     Basic AI with pathfinding for 5 citizens and an enemy creature

?     Mayoral view which allows the player to shift above the town and place down buildings and for citizens to build

?     Basic town building by citizens after a blueprint is placed by mayor

?     Basic mission showcasing both the player as a mayor in the town giving basic commands to build something, the mayor directly supporting the town by building some defenses, and a mission flag being fired off to support finding a lost caravan with needed food

?     Basic combat with a creature type

?     Basic vehicle control to access a caravan's cartview)

?     Basic interaction of the world with the multitool to dig up dirt blocks, and cut down trees for lumber.  Both can be placed from the quickswap.
