4 Thrones -- FREE on iOS until Dec 12th + Kickstarter

New York, NY, December 4th, 2013 -- The mobile game 4 Thrones will be free on iOS from now until Thursday, December 12th, 2013 to celebrate the 4 Thrones playing cards Kickstarter ( 4thrones.com). In other words, you have 8 days left to grab this sleek Solitaire game and get your hands on a physical deck.

Developed by New York based game studio Simple Machine, 4 Thrones is a new take on the old classic Solitaire. Like Solitaire, the goal of the game is to place all cards on the board, and higher cards are placed on lower cards. The face cards, however, have new rules: Jacks accept lower cards of any suit, Queens accept lower cards of hearts or diamonds, and Kings accept lower cards of spades. This simple redesign results in a more streamlined version of Solitaire that can be played in short bursts. And it's incredibly addictive!

4 Thrones also features multiple unlockable themes, allowing you to change the color of the cards and the background. In the latest update released just yesterday, 10 brand new themes were added. In addition, there are various modes like Endless and Kings in which you receive points for each King on the board.

The success of 4 Thrones led to the launch of a Kickstarter to print physical custom decks of the game ( 4thrones.com). The Kickstarter is nearing its final week and has reached 30% of its $8,900 goal. In addition to a physical version of 4 Thrones, rewards include standard playing cards in two 4 Thrones themes: All Black Everything and the exclusive limited All White Everything. These two decks embody the minimalist design that is 4 Thrones. Presently, there are no plans to run a reprint of the playing cards offered in the Kickstarter, which ends December 12th, 2013. So back the project while you still have the chance!
