The Museum of Computing in Swindon has some great activities lined up for children during the summer holidays.  Running every Friday and most Saturdays throughout August and starting this week, these hands-on activities are not to be missed!

Friday 8th -  Introduction to Scratch - Games Programming Workshop. Learn how to write your own computer game! Sessions run 10:00-11:00 and 12:00-13:00. Places are limited so must be booked in advance. Suggested age range 8-12. To book, please email info@museumofcomputing.org.uk

Friday 15th & Saturday 16th -  Minecraft Papercraft! Love Minecraft? Come and make your own paper versions of blocks, creepers etc and take them home with you!

Friday 22nd & Saturday 23rd -  LEGO day! We all love LEGO here at the Museum! Come and help build a giant LEGO mosaic, play LEGO computer games and build games characters from LEGO bricks!

Friday 29th & Saturday 30th -  Codes and Ciphers Treasure Hunt! Can you crack the 6 coded messages, find the hidden treasure in the museum and claim your prize?

All activities are free, but standard museum admission charges apply. Adults £2, Children £1, Concession £1.50, Family £5

Museum is open Friday 10:00-16:00, Saturday 09:30-17:00
