  VRTGO Announce Final List of Speakers, 11th September

The UK based VR conference, VRTGO, has today announced its final list of speakers for its inaugural conference this month in NewcastleGateshead.  The conference will feature high profile speakers from ZeroLight, SCEE, CCP, nDreams, Bossa Studios, Star Citizen, Spearhead Interactive and more. CCP will be talking about their new VR game Valkyrie with game creators Andy Robinson and Erich Cooper charting the 15-month history of EVE: Valkyrie from a ’20% time’ project for a small group of friends in Reykjavik, Iceland to the multi-platform AAA game that has become the poster-child for VR.

In addition on the games side, Jon Dadley will be talking about Star Citizen and their approach to supporting VR in their games rather than building solely for VR from the ground up. Star Citizen’s talk covers the wins, pitfalls and lessons learned from this approach. Jon Dadley, Designer, said, ” VRTGO is a great opportunity for us to share what we’ve learned on Star Citizen. VR is it a critical point and this kind of event is ideal for spreading knowledge.”
