No Heroes Here, GCA Best Social Game winner, gets demoed at
San Francisco, March 1st, 2017 - Mad Mimic Interactive, an independent studio from São Paulo, Brazil, announces its first title No Heroes Here during Game Developers Conference 2017. No Heroes Here won, earlier this week, the prize for Best Social Game at Game Connection America 2017.
The game, still under production, will be available this year for PC and other platforms. It's the first time a brazilian game gets awarded at Game Connection.
In the current stage of development, the game already has a world with 15 levels and is online multiplayer ready. No Heroes Here demo can be played during Game Connection and Game Developers Conference, and already shows key elements of its Noobland world, along with its essential mechanics - assembly, firing, ammunition and enemies - implemented.
No Heroes Here mixes crazed fun, tower defense concepts and simulation - making the result an explosive and frantic experience that makes friends improve their bonds of friendship...or break them forever. Since the heroes of the game are absolutely non-heroic folk, players must help each other to create different types of ammunition, fill the cannons and rain fire on the enemies. But without cooperation and team coordination, all can go downhill pretty fast.
No Heroes Here main features include:
· Assembling - is the essential item for the survival of your peasants! In each castle there are different stations and deposits with raw material for the cannons. Don't make mistakes, or everything can go, well, boom.
· Cannons - are the only defense available at the Castles and need ammo and gunpowder to destroy enemies. Do not forget to clean them before reusing and remember to hit the right target, without stopping the rhythm of producing even more ammunition.
· Enemies - there are four unique types: melee, ranged, specialist and mini-boss, which attack the castle gates and will give you what to fight for.
Teamwork and group cooperation are the key plots of No Heroes Here. Without them, there is no way to survive, defend and protect the castle. Players need to coordinate all the time, adapting to different tasks without wasting precious time.
