  GIANTS Software hires The Witcher, Project Cars 2 Audio Engineer Laszlo Vincze.

Farming Simulator developer GIANTS Software just completed a major hire in form of Laszlo Vincze.

The Audio Engineer joins the Erlangen Studio after working on several high-profile games including the famous “The Witcher” series and “Project Cars 2”. Laszlo, who taught himself to work with audio, started experimenting with sounds during the 8-bit era. Over the years it has earned him the work on many famous games. In addition to the above, he is also responsible for the sound in “Crysis Warhead” and “Homefront”.

“We strive to give our players the best gaming experience we can. A good atmosphere requires, above all, the right sound. Laszlo's experience and his ear for the right tone will help us improve the sound in the game, leading to an even better game experience.” Christian Ammann, CEO of GIANTS Software, states.

The Audio Engineer joined the team on the 15th of September 2017 and has already started his work on the Farming Simulator series.

“Sound is everywhere. Without the right sound effects games wouldn't be the same. My position allows me to bring my experience from Project Cars 2 to GIANTS Software. Over the last few years I've learned a lot about vehicles and their sounds and I can't wait to use this knowledge on the huge machines I'm allowed to work with now”, Laszlo explains.

Laszlo will be accompanied by Junior Audio Engineer Tiago Inácio, who will join the dev team in early 2018, completing the newly founded sound department in Erlangen.

The team is currently preparing for the upcoming tasks, including setting up a recording studio for the new audio team. The office in Erlangen will therefore be rebuilt over the course of the next few months to create the perfect workplace for them.
