I'm a part of the GL33k game audio studio where I've been doing asset creation and implementation full time since 2007. We're a group of independent game audio contractors who team up on large projects and individually tackle the smaller ones. We are available as a group through GL33k or as individual contractors.
I usually work in sound design and implementation, preferring to work directly with the game tools either on-site or over VPN. I'd say my greatest strength lies in creating environmental audio with far more detail and finesse than found in most games. I like to make the worlds of video games feel real.
I also create music in several different genres when needed, but feel at home in electronic and ambient genres.
In the last couple years I've ramped up my skills working in mobile and social games. I'm the sole sound designer for Tiger Style Games' second project, Waking Mars, which was nominated for the Excellence in Audio award in the 2012 Independent Games Festival. I work directly with source control and Xcode to add audio to the game and test builds, and closely with the audio programmer to create new audio systems as the game needs them.
