Anna Tito's Blog

I have just graduated from RMIT University with a Bachelor of Arts (Games Graphics Design, GPA 3.7) majoring in programming and design. In doing so I also am finishing up as a tutor and guest lecture in Game Design and Narrative and tutor in programming and am currently looking for work in mobile programming, tools development or quest/narrative implementation.

I am a strong believer in the concept of games as art and feel that we can have fun, meaningful and artistic games. My focus and passion is largely on Narrative and story and its role in developing meaningful game play. My other passions lie in the realm of reusable and elegant code (though I am generally a OO programmer) and teaching artists and designers to code.

To find out more about my work experience or to check out my online portfolio you can visit my web page at http://www.mythicalcreature.net/

Definitely lots of food for thought. You do come across as a little pro-emergence anti-experience, but I think that is largely just because the amount of time spent on discussing emergence vs the amount spent on experience. I definitely think the 5th category is an interesting one, part of me ...

Great article and thank you for raising an important issue .... I think I will just have to leave it at that as I am currently feeling very saddened by many of responses I have read here today.

As an Aussie I don't really see what all the fuss is about, I'd prefer my taxes to go to digital curatorship than helping out poorly managed private institutions or blowing people up. But then I don't get why people in the US are so weird about tax in the ...
