I don 't understand why you would want an external level editor instead of creating it inside the unity editor, where you can add more layers to the game design and test the level directly.

Yeah, i think you need to reset the whole engine if you want to change some rendering options bloom for example , but i think you can solve this by using params in materials and components and blueprints, like the post-process volumes or skyboxes BP, right r nRegards Zach
