Melody (Zhi Xin) Lee graduated from National University of Singapore with a Bachelor's in Computing in Media and Communications. She then attended Carnegie Mellon University for a Master's in Entertainment Technology, and fell in love with the rapid prototyping process. From creating a virtual world in a team of 5 in two to three weeks in her first semester, she progressed to making individual games in 7-9 days under the Emotionshop project in her last semester, with the intention of exploring how mechanics evoke emotions in games.
