Andrii Honcharuk's Blog
HI! My name is Andrii Honcharuk.
I'm expirienced systems and gameplay designer with a solid technical background.
I devoted my life to study entertainment industry, art, games, movies. Most of my time are devoted to expand my knowledge on game and level design, game UX and player motivation.
I'm always looking for creative solutions within game design space. But all ideas and propositions I always try to back up with "technical"(biological/psychological) proof. I relay more on facts and study rather “creative feeling”.
All the bests,
In this article I will present important concepts and arguments about culture and language differences in industry. Article is about upsides and benefits of learning additional language for game developer.
Throughout my lifetime I stumbled across a wide variety of different situations, design, managment and production wise. Here I want to give some advices that I learned by hard while working in industry. 15 advices to be precise.
History holds a lot of interesting info about human mind that not fully accepted by scientists. Doesn't make it less important, some things lay outside of normal science, things out of a gray area, in all terms, ethical, scientific, moral.
Co op will be a new, must have thing, for a mid core audience. Hardcore audience already occupied with pure competitive and team competitive games, and it’s really hard to compete on that market, so next step is tackling a mid core audience.
This topic is a bit controversial and I do realise that subject probably will be executed in other form, but in the end, what is most important, you will get an answer to a question: Why future games will be creeply horrifying and we will be ok with that?
As previously we discussed, process of writing/reading memory is really complex and involve hormones and neurotransmitters a lot. In this article I will give some examples on existing motivational models and their applications.

Thank 's for an advice, but I don 't know what it has in common with human motivation, especially holotropic breathing or scream therapy whatever it is , as for me I will advice everyone to stick with stuff that more grounded in actual science like biology and neurobiology. r ...

Your statement is correct, and I agree with it, I 'm not against concessions within games, but it 's done sometimes lacks deep UX consideration. r n r nGood example of how it 's done well is Alien isolation where when you use gun it shows bullet count because surely ...
