For this years GGJ15 I created a user-generated interactive chain story called ESCALATE! - a game for which development I had to sail far out of my normal comfort zone.
Some personal thoughts on good game ideas and things to avoid when choosing a new game project as an indie game developer.
May 1st we released our first game “... and then it rained” for iOS. The following month was a big but bitter-sweet success story with some hard but valuable insights on the way.
