Joshua Lin's Blog

Currently, I'm a senior at Case Western Reserve University. After graduation, I plan to go into part of a business development team. It's true that you don't ...

It's true that you don't have to consume it. However, there will always be a number of people who will try it out. Think Vanilla Coke: Some people tried it, but they didn't like it. The word spread and now it is hard to find Vanilla Coke anywhere. Now, Coke ...

While I'm sure that the gamers would prefer to have high-quality games, I think that from a business perspective, it isn't always possible. If you take a look at the two most successful publishers, EA And Activision, the two of them whip out games constantly each year. The initial quality ...

You must be a mind reader. I'm currently writing another piece on just that topic of developing good games from a business perspective, in a matter of speaking. I agree with you that if a game is bad, no amount of marketing can help save it. There is a reason ...

I think that if someone wants to be good at designing and creating games, they need to have the passion. From what I hear about developers in the industry, life is hard but it is their passion for games that drives them to create the games. Good to hear you ...
