My name is Tristan J Meere, I am a current Student at Rochester Institute of Technology, working in their Game Design and Development program. Despite my childhood being set on a farm in rural Ohio, working on games was something I knew at a very early age that I wanted to do, however coming from a relatively modust upbringing I never got into video games until I was a teenager. Instead I crafted anything and everything out of cardboard, paper, wood or whatever else I could 'obtain'

My perspective was quickly changed after I met a man named Mustafa, ironic I know. Being that I was home schooled, he was my first teacher and an art teacher at that. Mustafa was a student at the time, but taught part time at a local art center; cartoon drawing was the first class that I took with him. It didn't take too long for me, the bright eye'd kid to admire someone so skilled that just so happend to be working or attempting to work within the industry.

Mustafa would later introduce me to Maya, it was at that point that I above all else wanted to work in the game industry, aside from maybe president. Since then my career path has shifted like a bipolar on speed with me never being able to pin down a single interest. When the time finally came to choose a 4 year college, it was certainly a long and difficult process until I just decided to roll with RIT and take a shot at the pipedream.

I guess that is all life really is, a frantic grab at one pipedream to another.
